image of Dean TsouvalasThis week the FML is all about Screw: Hollar at Mike Jones as he 'screws' the FML, 'live like you were dying', and get sweet tips on how to dig up some cool FML cash, if you dare.

Screw Music
'Who is Mike Jones?' is the title of Jones debut CD that is making its mark all over our eTracks. And his self-promotional hook (including his actual phone number 281-330-8004) show up in just about every single song on the disc. Mike Jones is also the latest hip-hop artist to bring 'screw music' to the mainstream. Screw music is a hybrid of rap and hip-hop that originated at "Screwed Up Records & Tapes," a small store in Texas, and the innovation of DJ Screw. DJ Screw was the Thomas Edison of this style of music because he had the notion to slow down the vinyl song he was playing on his turntable, turning traditional up-tempo tunes into slow and syrupy tracks. It totally sounds odd but incredibly funky, imagine as though the juice is fading in your iPod while you are listening to the slow beats of your favorite jam. Regardless, labels brave enough to buy Mike Jones saw an increase of $1.2 million in revenue this week.

Money for Free
Ciara is a pop singing sensation, she was named one of Teen People's list of "Hottest Stars Under 25" and she is one of the biggest overall artist money makers this week bringing in a smooth million for... ahem, no one. (Hey Crazy FML Cats, we know you like your favorites but give her a chance.) Her third single, "Oh" featuring Ludacris continues its aggressive ascent up the eTracks but we can't see anyone in the Open league benefiting. Perhaps folks can't get past the rumor that the hip-hop beauty was born a man. As juicy a bit of gossip that is, Ciara is 100 percent woman, always was and always will be, however the false rumor has reached urban myth status.

Slow Down
'Slow Down' is not another reference to screw music, but the smooth and sexy title of Bobby Valentino's hit single. This isn't the first hit for the 22-year old R&B talent because he first tasted fame in the teen vocal group Mista. After the boys' voices changed, Bobby returned to school and then went off to college where he received a degree. Now with his education behind him, he plans to make some soulful Marvin Gaye-style mixed with dash of Prince music. Valentino joins funky punk rockers Acceptance, Natalie and the Fresh Prince himself Will Smith, as they all are the latest FML debut artists.

What Faith Hill Knows
Country superstar and crossover artist Tim McGraw (and Faith Hill's husband) is one of the top earning country artists this week. Whether he is singing the yummy hook on rapper Nelly's 'Over and Over,' or singing 'Drugs or Jesus' from his latest hit disc 'Live Like You Were Dying,' he is generating serious cash for the FML. McGraw joins Montgomery Gentry, Blaine Larsen and Jamie O'Neal in the pantheon of country label rainmakers. McGraw is branching out into a film career and recently got into some trouble while filming the remake of 1943 family film 'My Friend Flicka.' While filming a "wild horse chase", a horse accidentally died. But rest assured, animal services officials in Los Angeles, who launched an investigation into the death, insist it was just an accident so our country boy can go on singing and making money for the FML labels.
