image of Laura KatzWelcome to the first week of our FML Spring season!

We've got some amazing labels out there, with the right stuff to get this competition quickly on its feet.

Here are Spring 2007 Season's rankings so far:

Last season's Open League winner, Stevemoose, is on top once again with "glastobnury3". I Luv FML!!!'s "Jenny Baird Records" is right there at #2 with the identical roster. Utop's "30 Seconds To Audio And Airwaves" is in 3rd place, Jennifer's "My Pick" ranked at 4th, and in 5th place is stalefish's "stalefish records."

All of these labels feature the hottest artists in the biz, so we'll see how things progress in the coming weeks!

On to our charts....

The Shins are back at #1 in Alternative with their hit "Phantom Limb," My Chemical Romance comes in at #2 with "Famous Last Words," and The Killers fall in line at #3 with their single "Read My Mind."

Cold War Kids jumped up 5 spots to hit #4 this week, and Fall Out Boy took a sizeable 9-point leap to reach #5. Another big mover in Alternative this week was Modest Mouse. The band climbed up 8 spots, landing at #6 with the track, "Dashboard."

Justin Timberlake is sticking like glue to his #1 spot on the CHR eTracks chart. "What Goes Around" is still on top, and doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Chad Kroeger's recent trouble with the law haven't hurt record sales - Nickelbackis at #2 with "If Everyone Cared," Daughtry comes in at #3 this week with the hit single "It's Not Over" off the self-titled debut album, and Nelly Furtado and Fall Out Boy round out the rest of our CHR top 5.

Two acts to watch are Gym Class Heroes and Gwen Stefani - they both jumped up 7 spots on CHR this week.

The artists on our Country charts have gotten a little restless this week. Gary Allan has taken over the #1 spot with the single, "A Feelin' Like That," Carrie Underwood dipped down 1 point in the ranks to land at #2, and so did Trace Adkins, bringing him to #3. Brooks & Dunn is at #4 and hasn't budged since last week, and Kenny Chesney rose up 2 places to hit #5. We'll see if things steady out over the next few weeks.

On to Hot AC -Nickelback is on our charts once again, but this time, the Canadian rock-band is top dog, with Justin Timberlake coming in just behind at #2. Fall Out Boy hiked up 6 spots to reach #3, and John Mayer and Nelly Furtado make up the rest of Hot AC's top 5.

British pop star Lily Allen is making her offical NMC debut this week. The songstress has been making waves with "Smile" off the album, "Alright, Still."

Speaking of making waves, we have a few artists that have been doing just that on this week's Urban charts. Akon is reaching new heights with his hit song, "Don't Matter,", and Robin Thicke is rising up in the ranks landing at #2 this week. Jennifer Hudson has taken a small dip to #3, but it's nothing her big voice can't handle.

Hudson's "Dreamgirls" co-star Beyonce Knowlesis at #4 with "Irreplaceble," and Lloyd has made major moves with a 9-spot jump to #5 with the song "You."

Our Urban charts are also seeing two new debut artists this week: Huey at #15, and Tank at # 20.

Want to see you label rise to the top? Not sure your roster's got the goods? Easy - now's the perfect time to make any artist switches.

Here's how it's done: decide which artist you are going to drop. Go to your My Labels page, choose the label you want to make changes with, then click on that label's name. Choose the artist you want to drop, and click on the Switch link to the right of the artist's name. You'll be presented with a screen that is similar to the screen you saw when you first signed your 10 artists. Choose the artist you want to switch to from the drop down menu, and click on the Switch Artist button. Then, confirm your choice by clicking the confirmation button.

And if you really want to shake things up, you may want to invest in an artist switchpack. It's just 10 bucks, and it allows you to switch out Artists 5 more times. Plus, they can roll over to next season if you don't use them all. Just make sure that any switches are made before Monday at noon PT.

See you week 2, and until then, happy playing!
