Our artists haven't wasted any time after the holidays - they've been hard at work this week, earning tons of bonuses for their stellar performance on our charts, and generating revenue for your labels.

Topping both the CHR and Hot AC charts, The Fray earned over a million in bonuses this week, meaning a nice boost for most of our top ten Open league players who happen to carry the band on their label.

Justin Timberlake isn't too far behind the rock band - his status on the charts led to a $950,000 bonus for those who took him on.

Evanescence earned $600,000, Rodney Atkins scored $550,000, and Beyonce Knowles and Nickelback took in half a mil apiece.

All this activity has brought our top average weekly over the 40 million mark, with the honor going to Fetzmonger's Deadeye Records. Just behind him is Stevemoose's label, glastonbury3 with $39,725,000, making for one very tight race so far.

But as we all know, when it come to the music business, anything can happen. Incubus made a major breakthrough on the Alternative charts this week, jumping up 10 spots to number 3. The Plain White T's had an eleven point leap from 16 to number 5. Angels & Airwaves cut their trek to the top in half this week, going from 20 to number 10. And Hinder and Pepper are back on the scene, at least for now.

{Beyonce} made waves this week on CHR - she jumped up 6 spots to make it into the top 3. My Chemical Romance has crossed over from Alternative, and Chris Brown is also doing double-duty by appearing on both the CHR and Urban charts.

Rodney Atkins is the new number 1 on Country. The artist ousted Rascal Flatts from the top spot. Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw have held on tight to their 3rd, 4th, and 5th place spots.

On Hot AC, Nickelback took over {John Mayer's} number 2 position - The rock band climbed up 4 spots this week from number 6, and American Idol rocker Daughtry made his official NMC debut this week.

Jay-Z has found his way back to the Urban charts. The rapper has come out of retirement to bring us "Kingdom Come." And, in spite of a little scandal last week, rapper/actor Tyrese has also made his way back on the scene with his album, "Alter Ego."

Want to score extra bucks for your label? No need to polish those crystal balls: Sign a debut artist before the trading deadline of Monday noon PT, keep them for two weeks, and kazaam! You will earn your label a Debut Artist Bonus of $250,000.

And remember, if you think you need to shake up your label, make those artist switches now to maximize your earning potential. It could make all the difference.

Happy playing....!
