image of Laura KatzIt's out with the old, in with the new on this week's charts, with a few surprises along the way.

This is especially true in Alternative this week, with Beck taking over the coveted #1 position, ousting the seemingly unshakable Red Hot Chili Peppers. Gnarls Barkley has regained its reign at #2, with the Deftones, Evanescence, (+44), The Plain White T's, and Snow Patrol all showing impressive upward movement. We've also been revisited by a few old friends, Panic! At The Disco, Wolfmother, and Angels & Airwaves, who've made it back into this week's ranks. Pepper has made its Alternative debut this week at #20 with their album "No Shame."

CHR's movement is a bit less extreme, but is still showing signs of things to come. Evanescence has stolen the #1 position, with The Fray coming in right behind at #2. Teen pop queen JoJo has moved up to the #7 spot, and The Killers have squeezed their way into the top 10.

Rascal Flatts is a force to be reckoned with this week as our new #1 Country, with Dierks Bentley coming up 3 spots to hit #2. Veteran artists Jimmy Buffett and Vince Gill have also made an appearance on the Country scene, but time will tell whether they're here to stay.

Hot AC is out steady betty this week, except for Nickelback who's made it into the top 3, switching places with John Mayer.

Jim Jones and Shareefa are new to the Urban charts, making their debut at #16 and #19, respectively. Diddy has done well for himself, cruising his way up into the top 5. and no one seems to be able to snag the top spot away from Justin Timberlake, who's remained Urban king for some time now.

All this movement means tons of bonuses for artists that may not be as widely held, which will no doubt change the face of our FML game in weeks to come. Our big earner this week is Evanescence with $350,00 for being #1 and also in the top 5. Beck also brought in a quarter mil for his performance this week.

Another way to bring in the loot is through our referral program. Players registered with the Open League can refer friends to earn extra cash. Earn even more when those friends refer friends, and so on, and soon, and so on...
Check out My Referrals page for more detail on how to start the cash flow.

Don't forget, you have until Monday, noon (PT) to make any changes to your roster. Based on this week's charts, one small shift can make all the difference.
