image of David LawrenceThis week on the FML, Rock Kills Kid debuts on the Alternative Chart, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are the most dropped artists, while Sean Paul gains the most new label adds.

The Ivor Novello Nominations are in and Coldplay's "Fix You," Arctic Monkeys' "I Bet You Look Good On The Dance floor", and "Suddenly I See" by KT Tunstall are all up for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. Those Brit's have the catchiest award titles! Can't we just "Song Of The Year" guys? Does Hello Magazine award The Most Dressed Fashionably?

Gold Bonus Issued
Well, the gold bonuses are in. Those who held on tightly to James Blunt got an extra 1.6 million this week. Nickelback pulled in one million five hundred eighty thousand and Kelly Clarkson added one million five hundred twenty thousand. Other top bonus earners include Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boy, Sean Paul, Jack Johnson and Beyonce Knowles finish out the top 10 with her million-dollar bonus. Dropping an artist too quickly can keep you from adding that extra cash. So think hard before making those switches. Remember this about making money, not necessarily the bands you like. Business is so hard.

Standings:
Deadeye Records is still leading the pack. The Mine Label is right behind. Six hundred thousand and change is all the margin needed to stay in the lead - or take over first place. Remember, switches need to be made by Monday at noon PT. Good Luck!
