The Fantasy Music League Open is the overall league for all labels created by all players. This is the big one, where the competition is most plentiful and intense. Your label will be up against every other label create for that season, and can win the largest prizes if you're the best at the FML. You don't have to do anything to join the Open League - your entry is automatic.
