Carrie Underwood is still getting used to success, but that doesn't mean she's not humble. She knows her new album, Carnival Ride, is highly anticipated, after her debut, Some Hearts, sold six million copies. But she says even if it doesn't pull in the same numbers, she knows she's made a better album. She had more time to put into it, co-wrote four songs on it, and was able to give the producer feedback almost every step of the way.

Carrie says she's still shy in social situations, but feeling much more comfortable on stage now. She gets her feelings hurt by things said about her in the media, and doesn't like for anyone to be unhappy with her.

"I consider myself to be a no-ripples-in-the-water type of person and I don't want to make anybody mad and I try to make everybody happy. It's something I've had to deal with, realizing that I can't. I'm still working on that I think."
